Comparison of the Mental Status of COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit and General Intensive Care Unit Staff

Aim: The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic may predispose front-line intensive care staff to experience mental health problems. aim of this study was compare the COVID-19 fear experienced by unit and general staff, effects on health. Material Methods: In cross-sectional study, a total 156 participants, 90 (57.7%) participants from 66 (42.3%) unit, were included. A printed questionnaire consisting Fear Scale (FCV-19S), Depression Anxiety Stress (DASS-21), demographic data used. Results: Female gender, being nurse, working in associated with higher depression, anxiety, stress scores. significant relationship found between depression (?=0.399, p=0.044), anxiety (?=0.456, p=0.019), (?=0.418, p=0.033). Furthermore, as compared who have high-risk contact approximately twice times more likely 3.5 suffer stress. Conclusion: has adversely affected staff. Attention should be paid females nurses unit. workers supported protect workforce.
